How to get to Calabria

By Car: Autostrada del Sole (Free Toll from Salerno to Reggio di Calabria). SS106 Jonica (from Rocca Imperiale to Reggio di Calabria); SS18 Tirrenica (From Lido di Tortora to Reggio di Calabria).

By Train: Take the Roma - Napoli - Reggio di Calabria line; Paola-Cosenza: Lamezia-Catanzaro; Taranto-Sibari-Crotone-Catanzaro Lido - Reggio Calabria.

By Air: The main airport in the region is the international airport of Sant' Eufemia at Lamezia Terme. Lamezia has connections to the main italian cities and to some european destinations. The airport is followed, in terms of traffic, by Minniti Airport located in Reggio di Calabria, with flights to Rome and Milan and only in recent years by Sant' Anna airport in Crotone.

By Sea: There are many connections across the straights of Messina; between Reggio Calabria and S. Giovanni to Messina. There are also ferries to Malta.
